At Strategic Solutions 4 School Safety, LLC, our mission is to empower schools to create safe, supportive, and responsive learning environments through customized security consulting and training.
Drawing on over three decades of executive law enforcement experience and proven leadership in school safety management, we partner with educational institutions to design and implement comprehensive, evidence-based safety solutions. Our approach emphasizes collaboration, prevention, and preparedness — ensuring that every student and staff member feels secure, respected, and ready to learn.
Through strategic assessments, specialized training, and client-driven solutions, we are committed to enhancing campus safety, strengthening response capabilities, and fostering a culture of trust and vigilance across school communities.
Our Commitment
Rod Torres - Founder & Owner
Rod Torres is the founder and owner of Strategic Solutions 4 School Safety, LLC, bringing over three decades of distinguished public service and leadership experience to the field of school and community safety.
Rod honorably served as a Deputy Chief with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, where he dedicated his career to protecting the community and leading public safety initiatives with integrity and excellence. Following his retirement from law enforcement, Rod continued his commitment to safety and education as the Director of Safety for the Redlands Unified School District, overseeing district-wide safety programs, emergency preparedness, and staff training to ensure a secure learning environment for students and faculty.
Rod holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is a graduate of the Senior Management Institute for Policing (SMIP) at Boston University as well as the California POST Command College, prestigious programs known for developing high-level strategic leadership within public safety. In addition, he is a POST AICC Certified Instructor, reflecting his passion for mentorship and professional development in the areas of safety, leadership, and crisis response.
Through his extensive education, real-world experience, and dedication to public service, Rod provides a unique perspective and trusted expertise that guide the mission of Strategic Solutions 4 School Safety—helping schools build safer, more resilient communities.
